Export Council of Nepal, a council of the Nepalese trading firms/companies (traditional garment, handicraft and woolen goods exporters), was established in 1996 by a group of that kind of business entrepreneurs who have been regularly involving in export business. It is a non- profit making association for the promotion of export business in overseas countries that has been contributing a lot for the development of national economy, playing vital role in foreign currency earning, providing employment opportunity, increasing productivity and etc.
